We got immediate response by email to our initial query, suggestions for the photoshoot, we talked in advance about what we were hoping for and felt we were listened to, on the day we felt that there was no rush and expectations to perform and so it all went much better than expected. We are a family of people who hate being photographed – uncooperative grandparents, self-conscious parents and a small baby – yet the photoshoot felt totally relaxed. And then we got the photos back so quickly and the only problem was which ones to choose!

We weren’t quite sure what to expect of the day but we were pleasantly surprised and very pleased that [my brother] found you as a Christmas gift for us. It was great that you had ways of making Aiden smile, very clever to bring the bubbles! What we loved was that you were not intrusive and you caught the moments as they came as opposed to us having to pose for you.
The photos were exactly what we were hoping for. We didn’t want the bog standard photos you see from studios and it really was a day in the life of which was perfect. You captured the day perfectly with different takes on how others may have taken the photos. One of our favourite shots is the one you took of Aiden holding bear but from the angle of his legs.
We will definitely ask you to take our photos again when we have baby number two and our family grows and we would highly recommend you to anyone who wants photos with a difference.

Just from emailing several photographers I soon realised from your charming warm nature you were the one to take photographs of our baby girl. You accommodated us at short notice and were bubbly and enthusiastic throughout the shoot. We as new parents were daunted but you created so many unique poses from props in our home to create such stunning compositions. Our family and friends were truly thrilled to see such beautiful baby pictures and they really appreciated the professionally printed announcement cards. The DVD music video was priceless. So many of our friends commented they had never seen such a novel and exciting way of presenting our little princess. As we are hopeless with the camera, we wanted to have some nice photographs of our son taken before he turns two so we started researching over the Internet. We stumbled upon Antonina’s website and whilst looking at her portfolio, we were most captivated by the Bushy Park shoot so we decided to go with her. The resulting photographs have proven that we made the right choice.
We wanted photographs taken of us that were not so much posing but rather natural moments/emotions being captured and that’s exactly what we got. Despite being new to the location (Hampstead Heath), Antonina was able to find the perfect spots for our shoot. We had a lovely day in the park and the whole experience was very relaxed and we didn’t feel as though we were followed by paparazzi! We even had Tapas together for lunch afterwards.

I and my fiancé Paul had a brilliant photo-shoot with Antonina in the Dulwich Woods — despite our initial worries. Neither of us like being photographed and we felt a bit uncertain about the shoot beforehand, but Antonina is such a friendly and relaxed person that she quickly put us at our ease!
We not only ended up having a very fun afternoon, with lots of laughs — we were also absolutely thrilled with the photographs that came out of it. Before the shoot we owned precisely one photo of the two us together which we liked (and Paul was always a bit dubious about it!) We now have a bunch of lovely photographs, and we’ve just had 70 copies of one favourite one printed to include with our wedding invites.
I was so delighted to have some unique and interesting photos of me, too: I’ve always felt a bit like a rabbit in the headlines at the idea of getting head shots done, and since most of my work is online, I known for ages that I should have some nice profile shots of me … but none of the ones which friends took ever came out right.
Antonina helped me relax and captured some lovely photos: I was really pleased that she encouraged me to bring along some “props”, as the pics of me with my laptop and my notebook and books are just perfect for some of the projects I’ve got underway.
We’re going to cherish these photos for years to come. If, like we were, you’re convinced that you’re just not photogenic, Antonina will prove you wrong!

It was my elder son’s third birthday and my younger son’s six month ‘birthday’, so the occasion required a special set of photographs. But where would I find a photographer that would capture the cheeky energy of my three year old while also bringing out the still blossoming personality of my baby and deal with their camera shy parents?
One Google search later, I was reading Antonina’s blog and I knew I had found that special photographer. As soon as I spoke to her over the phone, she put me at ease about everything and was very accommodating of all my requests (not an easy thing to do!)
The actual photography session was nothing like I imagined. It was a just a great day with someone who felt like a friend to us and an aunty to the children. We look forward to having her back for our younger son’s first birthday.
Oh and the photographs… we were absolutely delighted with them.

I was very excited to have a photo session with Antonina, after an extremely disappointing experience in a makeover photo studio.
I had seen her work and had been impressed with her evident ability to use the natural light and surrounding environment to capture the beauty of her subjects. I was therefore confident that her skilful eye and creative flair would produce amazing results. What I hadn’t realised is just how enjoyable the experience would be!

“Thank you for helping me relax and feel at ease” – Venera
Looking at my maternity photos after giving birth I realise that nothing but artistic and yet very natural photos could have captured for me the most wonderful period in each woman’s life – expecting a baby… We had photographs taken at our house – both inside, in the garden and on the road outside. Antonina was extremely patient letting me try on nearly as many of my maternity outfits as I had – as a result we have a series of maternity photos that look as if they were all taken on different days. Thank you for helping me relax and feel at ease. I was rather reluctant at first, but by the end of the session I was really enjoying myself and was almost unstoppable! 
When my baby girl arrived, we arranged for Antonina to visit us at our house again. Antonina skilfully managed to capture so many adorable moments – my baby’s earnings, frownings, contemplations and even one of her first, and veeeery rear at the time, smiles! My husband, never fond of being photographed, is totally in love with the picture showing him dancing with Alisa. I don’t know how Antonina managed it, but she candidly video recorded a few moments of this very dance and included it into the incredible photo film, set to the most touching music – the film was such an unexpected bonus and such a treat!
